Greensboro Shrub Nursery was started in 1979 by brothers Jeff & Greg Creed and is now the largest wholesale and retail nursery in the Triad. It took three years for these 20-year-olds to produce their first crop of trees, shrubs and plants.

But they loved working with their hands and learned from their father (who grew up in tobacco fields) how to establish and grow a business. Jeff & Greg started off advertising their business at Trade Shows and happy customers quickly spread the word regarding their large selection and fair prices.

Jeff & Greg still run the day to day operations of Greensboro Shrub Nursery and have 7 children between them that have also worked for this local small family business.

Now, with more than 800 wholesale customers and hundreds of residential customers, Greensboro Shrub Nursery offers more than 45 acres of products, specializing in evergreen and deciduous shrubs, ornamental grasses and perennials. Jeff & Greg pride themselves on offering you the best selection and best quality possible.
